How do I find what X% of Y is?
Multiply Y by X and divide by 100. For example, 20% of 500 is (500 × 20) ÷ 100 = 100.
How do I find percentage increase or decrease?
Subtract the old value from the new value, divide by the old value, then multiply by 100. A negative result means a decrease.
